Vacant Position Details
Head of Operations (VPS & CPF)
- Location: Karachi (Non-transferable)
- Qualification: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Investment, or Actuarial
- Experience: 3–5 years in insurance, asset management, and pension operations, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership role
- Skills & Competencies:
- Deep understanding of VPS/CPF regulatory framework and retirement planning
- Strong process management, compliance, and risk assessment skills
- Proficient in MIS, reporting tools, and digital platforms
- Leadership, communication, and stakeholder management expertise
- Knowledge of Islamic finance and Shariah-compliant funds is an added advantage
Job Role & Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership – Manage end-to-end VPS/CPF operations including contributions, fund allocation, withdrawals, and annuitization.
- Regulatory Compliance – Ensure full SECP compliance, prepare regulatory returns, and manage audits.
- Fund Administration – Coordinate with Fund Manager, Trustees, and Custodians for fund operations and NAV monitoring.
- System & Process Optimization – Oversee IT systems, automation, and participant portals.
- Participant Services – Handle participant communication, grievances, and queries.
- Risk Management – Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring internal audit protocols.
- Team Management – Lead, train, and develop the VPS/CPF operations team for optimal performance.
