General Manager – ESG (Environment, Social, and Governance)
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or related field from HEC-recognized institution (16 years education).
- Master’s degree with additional certifications in the relevant field will be preferred.
Experience:
- At least 15 years in relevant areas such as Environmental Strategy & ESG Reporting, Social Impact Strategy, Assessment, Occupational Health & Safety, preferably in a management role.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead PMDC’s ESG and sustainability strategy in line with global frameworks (GRI, SASB).
- Oversee health and safety initiatives across all operational sites.
- Drive environmental goals focusing on emission reduction, energy efficiency, and resource conservation.
- Manage ESG data reporting processes and prepare reports for the Board.
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical business practices.
- Formulate and manage budgets for HSE and ESG-related programs.
- Supervise social responsibility initiatives, including community engagement.
- Achieve best safety and ESG standards in the mining industry.
- Establish baseline emissions for fresh water and solid waste.
- Conduct audits, safety inspections, and liaise with EPA, NDMA, and Rescue 1122.
