Chief Compliance Officer / Group Head
Bank of Khyber is seeking to onboard an exceptionally strong and goal-oriented professional for the position of Chief Compliance Officer / Group Head. This is a senior leadership opportunity that directly reports to the Managing Director/CEO of the Bank.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum qualification required is Graduation.
- Preference will be given to candidates having:
- Master’s degree in:
- Business Administration
- Accounting
- Finance
- Commerce
- Economics
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
- Any equivalent degree recognized by HEC Pakistan.
- Master’s degree in:
- Candidates with foreign qualifications must possess an equivalency certificate from HEC Pakistan.
- Additional certifications such as:
- CAMS
- CFCS
- CCEP
- CGSS
- Other Compliance-related certifications
will be considered an added advantage.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of working experience in:
- Compliance
- Audit
- Operations
- Risk Management
- Internal Controls
within a Financial Institution.
- Candidates must possess at least 05 years of Compliance experience at senior level.
- Applicants currently heading the overall Compliance Function in a Financial Institution are exempted from the senior-level experience requirement.
- Candidates must meet the “Fit and Proper Test” criteria of the State Bank of Pakistan.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Establish mechanisms to ensure all banking activities comply with regulatory requirements.
- Represent the Bank before regulators regarding compliance matters.
- Ensure implementation of:
- AML
- KYC
- CDD
- EDD
- CFT
policies and procedures.
- Ensure effective Credit, Business, and Operations policies along with strong internal control systems.
- Develop compliance strategies and formulate policies/guidelines for effective Compliance Risk Management.
- Develop and implement Compliance Risk mitigation tools including:
- Compliance Risk Framework
- Periodic review systems
- Risk mitigation programs
- Serve as Chairman or Member of various committees of the Bank.
- Perform any additional responsibilities assigned by:
- Managing Director/CEO
- Board of Directors (BOD)
Salary & Location
- Position is based at the Head Office Peshawar.
- A market-based remuneration package will be offered to the selected candidate.
