The Government of Balochistan is inviting applications from dynamic, energetic, and highly qualified professionals for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Balochistan Energy Company Limited (BECL). BECL is a provincial holding company registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) and aims to play a key role in the development and sustainability of the energy sector in Balochistan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the energy sector in Balochistan.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams for efficient project execution and management.
- Represent BECL at national and international forums to foster investments and collaborations.
- Strengthen governance frameworks and ensure compliance with corporate regulations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Master’s degree or Advanced Diploma in a relevant field, preferably from a foreign university with supporting professional training programs.
- Professional Experience:
- Minimum 15 years of leadership experience, with substantial roles in the energy, oil, and gas sectors.
- Experience in senior management roles with a strong track record in interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary work.
- Proven expertise in the energy sector, including geological surveys, mineral mapping, and resource management strategies.
- Experience on the boards of leading energy companies (e.g., PSO, PPL, PLL) or regulators (OGRA/DGPC).
- Experience in international negotiations, particularly in petrochemical projects.
