Positions Details
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
- Reports to: CEO and Board of Directors, IESCO
- Department: Finance, Treasury, Accounts
- Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage financial operations and internal controls.
- Advise the Board on financial matters.
- Maintain proper financial records and ensure compliance with Companies Act 2017, SOE Act 2023, and all relevant laws.
- Work with external and internal auditors to maintain financial integrity.
- Implement ERP systems and internal audit functions aligned with IIA standards.
- Contribute to inventory management, procurement control, and financial systems improvement.
- Qualification & Experience:
- Member of a recognized professional accounting body.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience; 3 years in senior management with companies/assets of at least PKR 5 billion.
- Experience in ERP environments and internal audit systems.
- Preferable: Knowledge of Pakistan electricity market, corporate & regulatory frameworks, and tariff structures.
