Ineligibility Conditions for PAF Medical Branch Jobs 2026
Candidates falling under the following categories will not be eligible for selection:
1. Rejected by ISSB or Armed Forces Selection Boards
Candidates rejected by ISSB, GHQ, NHQ or AHQ Selection Boards under the following conditions:
- Twice rejected by ISSB for Postgraduate Entry.
- Twice rejected by ISSB for Intermediate/Graduate (PMA/Graduate/Equivalent) and once rejected by ISSB or GHQ/NHQ/AHQ-based selection boards.
- Once rejected by ISSB for Intermediate/Graduate (PMA/Graduate/Equivalent) and twice rejected by ISSB or GHQ/NHQ/AHQ-based selection boards.
2. Other Ineligibility Conditions
- Candidates screened out twice by ISSB.
- Candidates dismissed, removed or debarred from government services, including Armed Forces.
- Candidates appearing for ISSB within four months (120 days) of their previous appearance. However, this restriction may not apply to candidates appearing before GHQ/NHQ/AHQ Selection Boards, subject to the stated competent authority provisions.
- Candidates convicted by a court of law for any heinous offence.
- Candidates permanently declared unfit by the Appeal Medical Board (PUF by AMB).
- Candidates declared medically unfit due to Hepatitis B or C. Appeal Medical Board review cannot be requested in this case.
- Candidates withdrawn from any bonded Armed Forces college or institution on disciplinary grounds.
- Candidates withdrawn, discharged, resigned or released through purchase of release from any Armed Forces Officers’ Academy or training institution on any grounds.
- Candidates involved in tampering with academic certificates, forgery or concealment of information to obtain an unfair advantage. Such applicants will become permanently ineligible for all types of commissions in the Armed Forces.
- Candidates screened out three times by the Army, Navy or Air Force during preliminary selection.
