Position: Assistant Director (Storage):

Position Details

Job Title: Assistant Director (Storage)
Maximum Age: 37 years (inclusive of 5 years age relaxation)
Educational Background:

Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT (4 years) or equivalent from an HEC-recognized university.
Preferred: Master’s degree in a related field.
Attested degrees from HEC are mandatory.

Professional Experience, Skills & Competencies

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of experience in DevOps (GIT, CI/CD pipelines, Ansible, etc.) operations in a large enterprise organization (on-premises).
Experience with containerized storage solutions (e.g., Kubernetes persistent volumes).
Certifications in virtualization, Kubernetes, or storage technologies are preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

Understanding of storage technologies (SAN, NAS, object storage, distributed storage systems).
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Java, Bash).
Experience managing web and application servers, including Tomcat, Apache, Oracle WebLogic, and IBM WebSphere.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Terms & Conditions

Initial contract period of 5 years, extendable based on requirement.
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for tests/interviews.
