Recruitment Advertisement: Constables & Lady Constables (Punjab Police)
Eligibility Criteria
- Domicile:
- Candidates must possess a domicile of their respective districts.
- For candidates from tribal areas of Dera Ghazi Khan and Rajanpur (de-excluded areas), domicile from these areas is mandatory.
- Age Limit:
- For male candidates: 18 to 22 years.
- For female candidates: 18 to 25 years.
- Height Requirement:
- Male candidates: Minimum 5 feet 7 inches.
- Female candidates: Minimum 5 feet 2 inches.
- Chest Measurement (Male candidates only):
- Minimum: 33 inches (unexpanded).
- Maximum: 34.5 inches (expanded).
- Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have passed the Secondary School Certificate (Matric) examination from a recognized board with at least 50% marks.
- Physical Test:
- Male candidates: Complete a 1.6 km run within 7 minutes.
- Female candidates: Complete a 1.6 km run within 10 minutes.

How Can Apply:
- Application Form:
- The prescribed application form can be downloaded from the Punjab Police website: http://punjabpolice.gov.pk.
- Submit the completed application form along with attested copies of required documents and a processing fee of PKR 300 to the respective District Police Line from 11th January 2025 to 25th January 2025.
- Additional Notes:
- No relaxation in height, chest measurement, education, or age will be granted.
- Employees of government and semi-government institutions must submit applications through proper channels with a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
- 5% of seats are reserved for minority candidates, and 10% for retired army personnel.
- Ex-Servicemen:
- The candidate’s effective age (current age minus service years) must not exceed 22 years.
- The actual age must not exceed 40 years, and retirement should have occurred within the last two years.
- Candidates dismissed due to disciplinary action are not eligible.
- Additional Requirements:
- Candidates claiming additional marks based on police family affiliation must provide relevant documents (e.g., pension book, retirement order).
- Applicants must submit an affidavit confirming they are not involved in any FIR or criminal cases.
- Selection Process:
- Candidates will undergo physical measurement, a written test, and an interview.
- Incomplete or fraudulent documents will result in disqualification and legal action.
- The department reserves the right to amend or cancel this advertisement partially or entirely.
