How to Apply for latest PU Jobs ?
- Upper age limit 55 years (relaxable by two year’s by the competent authority on recommendation of the Selection Board)
- In the first instance, the candidates who fulfill the criteria laid down for the post of Professor by HEC would be considered and candidate selected from among them would be appointed as Director in BS-21.
- In case, no candidate meets the requirements prescribed for the post of Professor, then, the candidates who fulfill the criteria set for the post of Associate Professor by HEC would be considered and the selected candidate would be appointed as Director in BS-20.
- The appointment would be made for tenure of four years.
- If the selected candidate does not belong to the Centre the appointment would be made either on deputation or on contract basis.
- Candidates are required to provide following information in addition of filling online application form.a) Length of Service b) Number of Research publication (Mention Impact Factor/Category)/Books/Monographs/Patents c) Academic performance (No. of M.Phil/PhD Produced/Awards/Research grants/HEC best teacher award) d) Post PhD Qualification e) Administrative experience
- Foreign degree holders must provide equivalence certificate issued by the HEC.
- The candidates applying should submit an application along with the photocopies of testimonials research work/publications/photograph (1×1) certificate of any distinction etc., on the prescribed form.
- Candidates already in service should apply through proper channel by due date and submit service certificates issued by their present and former employers, otherwise, their applications will not be entertained.
- Incomplete applications (in any case) or those received after due date shall also not be entertained.
- The candidates should submit a separate list of attached documents with signature
- The candidates should mention the date of Notification/Result and time period of the degree in the relevant column of prescribed form Research publication shall be accepted as per prevailing HEC policy.
- It is mandatory for candidates to deposit fee Rs.5000/- in any Branch of HBL or UBL
Vancom - The fee must be deposited on the prescribed challan form to be generated on-line and original Receipt must be provided along with hard copy of application form.
- No Bank Draft or Pay Order or Cheque or any such instrument will be accepted as fee by the University.
- Applications forms received without fee deposit receipts shall be rejected.
- The advertisement can be viewed on www.jobs.punjab.gov.pk and www.pu.edu.pk/careers.
- It must be noted that all posts will be filled according to the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training/University of the Punjab criteria.
- The hard copies of on-line application form, complete in all respect, should reach in the office of the Registrar (Human Resource Branch, Admin. Block, Room No.19), University of the Punjab Quaid-i-Azam Campus, Lahore, during office hours, within 6 days of the closing date of advertisement through registered post.
- No application shall be received by hand.
