WAPDA CAREER OPPORTUNITY: GENERAL MANAGER (SECURITY) – BPS-20
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the entire security setup for WAPDA’s assets, ensuring their safety.
- Coordinate with law enforcement agencies, project authorities, and field officers.
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and security strategies.
- Manage an efficient security force, assess its needs, and organize training.
- Procure security-related equipment such as weapons and ammunition.
- Ensure the safety of foreign personnel deployed at projects.
- Collaborate with government departments to prevent encroachment on WAPDA properties.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Qualification: Retired Brigadier or equivalent from the Armed Forces.
- Age Limit: Maximum 55 years.
- Quota: Open Merit.
- Location: Lahore.
Tenure and Salary:
- Contractual appointment for 3 years (extendable annually based on performance).
- The selected candidate will receive the benefits associated with the post of GM at WAPDA.
