Age Limit
- Not more than 60 years.
Required Qualifications
- MBBS or equivalent qualification with higher postgraduate qualification, such as:
- PhD (for Basic Sciences), or
- FCPS / MRCP / FRCS / MD / MS / American Board or equivalent (for Clinical Sciences),
- Qualification must be recognized by Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC).
- Must be an eminent person of scientific and medical repute.
- Preferred Qualification:
- Master’s Degree or Postgraduate Higher Diploma in:
- Public Health, or
- MHPE, or
- Health Services Administration, or
- Medical Sciences, or equivalent,
- Recognized by HEC.
- Master’s Degree or Postgraduate Higher Diploma in:
Research & Publications
- Minimum 15 publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- At least 3 publications in international journals recognized by HEC/PMDC.
Experience Requirements
- At least 05 years’ experience as Professor in the medical profession on a regular basis.
- Minimum 03 years’ experience in hospital administration and management at a senior level, preferably as Head of a Medical Institution.
Tenure
- Initial appointment for three (03) years on a contract basis.
- Extendable for further periods, not exceeding three years at a time, subject to Federal Government approval.
Emoluments
- Salary equivalent to initial stage of BPS-22, along with applicable fringe benefits.
