Vacant Position
GIS Expert – NATCAT Data Centre (One Position)
- Qualification: Minimum 16 years of education in Geoinformatics, GIS & Remote Sensing, Data Science, or related fields.
- Experience:
- 6–8 years of professional experience, including 2–3 years of relevant expertise.
- Completion of at least 3 landmark national/international projects of similar nature.
- Proficiency in integrating heterogeneous datasets from multiple sources and formats (vector: shapefiles, GeoJSON; raster: satellite imagery, elevation models).
- Knowledge of spatial DBMSs (PostGIS, Oracle Spatial) and interoperability standards (OGC).
- Experience in data transformation, conversion, and harmonization.
- Age Limit: Maximum 57 years.
