Job Opportunity: Part-Time Legal Advisor at Punjab Small Industries Corporation (PSIC)
Eligibility Criteria:
- LLB (LLM/Bar at Law preferred) from a reputable institution (National/International).
- Minimum 5 years of practice as an Advocate at the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
- Age: Minimum 45 years as of the application deadline.
- Proficiency in Corporate, Banking & Taxation, Labour, Civil, Criminal, and Service Laws.
- Experience in providing legal advisory services for reputed private or public sector companies or government departments.
- Independent office in Lahore with sufficient staff.
- Command over both English and Urdu languages (speaking and writing).
Job Responsibilities:
- Represent PSIC in courts of law as required.
- Attend PSIC Head Office to assist Management on call.
- Prepare and vet contracts, agreements, policies, and service level agreements.
- Provide advisory services on departmental matters.
- Assist in legal inquiries or proceedings related to PSIC employees.
- Create legal documents as required.
- Hold monthly review meetings with existing Legal Counsels for case finalization.
- Other tasks as assigned by PSIC Management.
Remuneration:
- Rs. 200,000/month (inclusive of taxes).
Tenure:
- 2 years, extendable based on satisfactory performance and approval of the Competent Authority.
