How to Apply Poonch Medical College?
- These Appointments shall be purely on contract basis as per Contract Policy 2006 of Govt. of AJK for initial period of 03 years (extendable) or as specified by the Government subsequently.
- Posts may be increased or decreased according to requirement.
- Selected candidates shall have to abide by the rules and regulations of PM&DC and the institution.
- All vacancies will be filled purely on merit basis.
- The appointment during the period of contract shall be liable to terminate on 30 days prior notice on either side or on payment of one month pay in lieu thereof without assigning any reason.
- Monthly salary shall be liable to tax deduction at source as per law.
- Age limit as per Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PM&DC) Rules/Policy.
- In respect of other matters not specified in this contract.
- The rules and regulations of AJ&K Government shall apply.
- Only shortlisted candidate will be called for interview, no TA/DA will be admissible.
- Incomplete applications will not be entertained.
- Candidates shall bring all original documents at the time of interview date.
- Preference will be given to state subject.
- Application for each vacancy will be submitted separately along with complete documents/ envelope to be marked accordingly.
- The following documents (hard copies) must be submitted by the applicants along with their application to the address provided below within 15 working days of the advertisement.
- Attested copies of educational certificates, degree (Matric, Intermediate, MBBS, M.Phil, FCPS, Ph.D etc.) diplomas, experience certificate, articles and accreditation of experience certificate/eligibility certificate (for the applied post).
- Detailed Curriculum Vitae of the applicants, covering letter clearly highlighting post applied for, eligibility criteria and personal attributes with valid contact number.
- Valid PMC/PM&DC registration certificate. Copy of CNIC (b) Domicile (c) PRC (If applicable)

- The applicants from DoH or those who already working in teaching hospitals of the medical college will process their applications through proper channel along with all documents mentioned above and will be entertained after the approval of Secretary Health Govt. of AJ&K.
- Direct application will not be entertained.
- Selected DoH employees will draw their salary against their respective/substantive post of DoH.
- However, they may be entertained for teaching allowance as per budgetary provision/policy/approval of GoAJK.
