Job Opportunity: Senior Program Officer (Environment & Social Management)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct environmental and social assessments in accordance with public sector regulations.
- Develop IS, HIAS, MMP’s, and Social Management Plans (SMPs).
- Prepare Social Assessment Reports (SAR), Resettlement & Rehabilitation Action Plans (RAPs).
- Address and manage social issues arising during the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with public sector entities and donor agencies to ensure compliance with environmental standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 16 years of education in Environmental Engineering/Sciences or related field from an HEC recognized university.
- At least 12 years of post-qualification professional experience, including social safeguard assessments and environmental analysis.
- Proven experience with public sector regulations, social safeguards, and handling environmental projects.
- Familiarity with foreign-aided projects and local government systems will be advantageous.
Age Limit: Maximum 63 years (age may be relaxed for exceptionally qualified candidates).
