Vacant Positions and Details
1. Assistant Superintendent Jail (Service Quota) – BS-16
Department: Punjab Prisons Department
No. of Posts: 115
Nature of Post: Regular Basis
Qualification/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Second Division) from HEC recognized university.
- Candidates must be from amongst Chief Warders (BS-11), Head Warders (BS-09), and Warders (BS-07) with five years of service in such posts.
- Experience/Service Certificate must be issued by the concerned Superintendent Jail on the format PPSC-6 available on the PPSC website.
2. Lady Assistant Superintendent Jail (Service Quota) – BS-16
Department: Punjab Prisons Department

Nature of Post: Regular Basis
Qualification/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Second Division) from HEC recognized university.
- From amongst Chief Warders (BS-11), Head Warders (BS-09), and Warders (BS-07) with five years of service.
- Experience/Service Certificate duly signed, stamped, and issued by the concerned Superintendent Jail on format PPSC-6.
3. Senior Scientist (GIS) – BS-18

Nature of Post: Contract Basis for 05 Years
Qualification/Experience:
- MS/MPhil in GIS or GIS & Remote Sensing from HEC recognized university with 3 years post-qualification experience in GIS projects in a reputable public/private sector organization.
OR - M.Sc. in GIS or GIS & Remote Sensing (Second Division) from HEC recognized university with 5 years post-qualification experience in GIS projects in a reputable organization.
- Only practical experience after the prescribed qualification will be considered. Experience in private entities is acceptable if the entity is registered with SECP, Registrar of Firms, or other regulatory authority.
4. Associate Professor Orthopaedic Surgery – BS-19
Department: Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department

Nature of Post: Regular Basis
Qualification/Experience:
- MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by PMC and FCPS/MS/FRCS/MRCP/MD/Diplomat of American Board in the respective specialty.
- If none with above qualifications is available, MBBS with FCPS/MS/FRCS/MRCP/MD/Diplomat of American Board (General Surgery/Medicine) with 3 years post-graduation practical experience in the institute is acceptable.
- Five years teaching experience as Assistant Professor or equivalent recognized by PMC with at least 3 research papers in standard medical journals.
5. Associate Professor Physiology – BS-19
Department: Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department

Qualification/Experience:
- MBBS or equivalent qualifications recognized by PMDC/PMC with postgraduate qualifications D.Sc., Ph.D., MD, M.Phil (Pak) or equivalent recognized by PMC.
- Five years teaching experience as Assistant Professor or equivalent in basic specialties with at least 3 research papers published in standard medical journals.
- If none with above qualifications is available, candidates with a postgraduate minor diploma in the subject recognized by PMC and 3 years teaching experience as Demonstrator with 7 years as Assistant Professor and 5 research papers may apply.
