Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Expert
Place of Posting:

Qualification Requirements:
- BS (Hons) in Environmental Sciences OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil / Electrical / Mechanical)
- Degree must be from an HEC-recognized university
- NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) is mandatory
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 05 years of relevant professional experience
- At least 03 years of experience in International Donor Funded Projects
Salary Package:
- Lump sum Rs. 200,000/- per month (inclusive of all perks & privileges)
Key Mandate / Charter of Duties:
- Assist Project Management in implementation of Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP) and EHS Plan
- Oversee ESMP/EHS compliance for rehabilitation works and existing facilities (Powerhouse & WAPDA Workshop)
- Conduct regular EHS risk assessments and audits
- Identify EHS risks, implement mitigation measures, and maintain a risk register
- Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, and annual EHS reports to WAPDA and donor agencies
- Maintain complete documentation of EHS activities, incidents, audits, inspections, and corrective actions
- Coordinate with supervision consultants, contractors, and WAPDA management
- Liaise with donor agencies, local authorities, and communities on EHS matters
- Develop and conduct EHS training programs for project staff, O&M staff, and workers
- Lead EHS awareness sessions and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; determine root causes
- Implement corrective actions and integrate lessons learned to prevent future incidents
