Communication Specialist (Environment and Climate) – MP-III

Pay Package:
As determined by the Finance Department from time to time under the revised Management Position Scales (MP-I, MP-II, and MP-III) notified by the Finance Department, Government of Sindh.
Maximum Age: 62 Years
Domicile Required: Sindh Province
Required Qualification & Experience:
Option 1:
- Ph.D. in Environmental Science.
- Minimum 04 years of professional experience in the relevant field.
OR
Option 2:
- Master’s Degree in Environmental Science.
- Minimum 08 years of experience dealing with environmental and climate change issues.
Additional Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience of working on United Nations Environmental and Climate Change Conventions.
- Excellent research, documentation, and report-writing skills.
- Experience in preparing reports on UN conventions will be considered an added advantage.

- Recruitment will be made under the Sindh Management Positions Policy, 2022, issued by the Services, General Administration and Coordination Department (SGA&CD), Government of Sindh.
- The recruitment process will also follow the revised Management Position Scales (MP-I, MP-II, and MP-III) notified by the Finance Department, Government of Sindh through notification No. FD(SR-III)5-127/2017 dated 22 December 2023.
- The selected candidate will be appointed on a contract basis for an initial period of two (02) years.
- The contract may be extended for an additional two years on a yearly basis, subject to satisfactory performance.
