Vacant Positions & Detailed Eligibility Criteria

1. Director Civil Works (PPS-9)

  • Number of Posts: 01
  • Pay Scale / Salary: 306,250 – 15,315
  • Age Limit: 55 years
  • Qualification & Experience:
    • BSc in Civil Engineering.
    • Minimum of 10 years’ experience as an Engineer, of which 5 years’ experience must be as an Executive Engineer or equivalent posts.
    • Note: Persons with specific experience in building construction only need apply.

2. Accountant / Accounts Officer (PPS-7)

  • Number of Posts: 01
  • Pay Scale / Salary: 157,500 – 7,875
  • Age Limit: 45 years
  • Qualification & Experience:
    • M.Com / MBA (Finance and Accounting) with 2 years’ experience OR B.Com/BBA (Finance and Accounting) with 10 years’ experience of Audit and Accounts.
    • Experience must be in a responsible position within a Government or Education department.

3. Computer Operator (PPS-6)

  • Number of Posts: 01
  • Pay Scale / Salary: 105,000 – 5,250
  • Age Limit: 28 years
  • Qualification & Experience:
    • 2nd Class or Grade ‘C’ Master’s / Bachelor’s (4 years duration) degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent qualification from a University recognized by the HEC.

4. Quantity Surveyor (PPS-6)

  • Pay Scale / Salary: 105,000 – 5,250
  • Age Limit: 32 years
  • Qualification & Experience:
    • At least Second-Class B-Tech (Hon’s four (04) years) Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent qualification from a recognized University.

5. Sub Engineer (PPS-5)

  • Pay Scale / Salary: 70,000 – 3,500
  • Age Limit: 35 years
  • Qualification & Experience:
    • Diploma from a School of Engineering / Polytechnic with two years’ experience of an Overseer’s job.

6. Assistant (PPS-5)

  • Pay Scale / Salary: 70,000 – 3,500
  • Age Limit: 35 years
  • Qualification & Experience:
    • Graduate with 2 years’ experience as a UDC OR Intermediate with three (3) years’ experience OR Matriculate with at least five (5) years’ experience as a UDC in a university, Government, or semi-Government organization.

7. Attendant / Office Attendant (PPS-1)

  • Pay Scale / Salary: 28,000 – 1,400

How to Apply

Candidates fulfilling the required parameters must process their applications exactly as outlined below:

  1. Obtain Application Form: The application form can be obtained directly from the Administration Section/Admin Block of the University or downloaded from the official QAU website at www.qau.edu.pk.
  2. Application Processing Fee: Pay the non-refundable processing fee through a Pay Order/Bank Draft (from any bank) or via a Bank Challan from the HBL Quaid-i-Azam University Branch. The fee layout is:
    • Rs. 2,000/- for Serial No. 01 to 02.
    • Rs. 1,000/- for Serial No. 03 to 06.
    • Rs. 500/- for Serial No. 07.
    • Note: Drafts/Challans must be drawn in favor of the Treasurer, Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad.
  3. Required Documents: Attach 2 attested photographs, copies of experience certificates, educational testimonials, domicile, and CNIC.
  4. Submission: Send the fully completed application package during office hours to:Office of the Additional Registrar, Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad.
  5. Deadline: Applications must reach the designated office on or before 15 days from the date of publication of the advertisement.

Conditions and Instructions

  • Previous Applicants: Applicants who have already applied for these positions in response to previous advertisements and meet the prescribed qualifications are not required to apply afresh; their earlier applications will automatically be considered.
  • Incomplete/Late Applications: Incomplete applications or submissions received after the specified due date will not be processed or entertained.
  • Government/Semi-Government Servants: Applicants already working in Government/Semi-Government Organizations/Autonomous Bodies must apply through the proper channel supported by a service certificate and an NOC issued by their present employer.   • Contract Nature: Appointments will be made initially for a period of one year. Subject to satisfactory performance and annual review, these positions are likely to be continued until the completion of the project.
  • Permanent Claims: Because these positions are purely project-based, they shall confer no right to regularization or permanent appointment at any stage.
