CM Punjab Climate Leadership Development Internship Program (Phase-II, Batch-II)

The CM Punjab Climate Leadership Development Internship Program is a flagship initiative by the Environment Protection & Climate Change Department, Government of Punjab. The program aims to develop future climate leaders by providing graduates with practical experience, professional training, and exposure to environmental protection and climate policy.

1. Program Benefits

Selected interns will receive:

  • Monthly Stipend: PKR 60,000
  • Duration: 3 Months
  • Merit-based selection process
  • Training through a modern Learning Management System (LMS)
  • UNFCCC Certification as an integral part of the program
  • Practical field experience at Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) offices
  • Exposure to:
    • Climate Policy
    • Strategic Planning

2. Eligibility Criteria

Age Requirement

  • Applicants must be 20 to 27 years old at the time of application.

Academic Qualification

Applicants must possess:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree, and
  • At least one of the following academic requirements:
    • 75% or above marks
    • 3.0/4.0 CGPA
    • 3.75/5.0 CGPA

Availability

Applicants must:

  • Not be employed in any full-time or part-time job during the internship.
  • Not be enrolled in any academic program during the internship period.
  • Submit a legal affidavit confirming their availability.

A. Environmental Sciences & Engineering (60% of Seats)

Eligible graduates from:

  • Environmental Science
  • Environmental Engineering
  • Engineering
  • Other related environmental and engineering disciplines

B. Business, Computer Sciences & GIS (20% of Seats)

Eligible graduates from:

  • Business Administration
  • Computer Science
  • Information Systems
  • Data Analytics
  • Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
  • Other related disciplines

C. Social Sciences, Arts & Humanities (20% of Seats)

Eligible graduates from:

  • Public Policy
  • Economics
  • Media Studies
  • Journalism
  • Law
  • Sociology
  • Arts & Humanities
  • Other related disciplines

4. Selection Process

  • Selection is strictly merit-based.
