How to Apply for Jail Department Jobs in Sindh August 2026

  1. Interested candidates holding a domicile of Sindh must apply online along with a non-refundable application/registration fee of Rs. 1,600/-.
  2. The fee must be deposited in PTS countrywide online branch network or Habib Bank Limited (HBL) using the prescribed deposit slip available on the PTS portal.
  3. Candidates applying online must upload a clear scanned photograph and a clear image of the paid HBL deposit slip onto the PTS online application portal.
  4. Online application submission and fee deposit slip upload must be completed on the PTS website (www.pts.org.pk) on or before 04-09-2026.
  5. Note: Hard copies of documents sent via courier service will not be entertained. Only a clear photograph of the paid deposit slip uploaded to the PTS portal will serve as valid proof of application.
  6. Incomplete applications, unclear uploaded images, or applications submitted without an authentic paid deposit slip receipt stamp will be rejected.
  7. All uploaded documents and receipts must be clearly legible.

  1. Verification of original documents will be conducted at the interview stage. Candidates providing false or fabricated statements at any stage will be declared ineligible.
  2. Candidates currently in government service must apply through proper channel.
  3. Incomplete applications or those received after the closing date will not be entertained.
  4. Candidates qualifying the physical test will be called for the written test by PTS. The venue and date for the written test will be communicated later.
  5. All updates regarding test dates, timings, and test centers will be communicated via SMS and call letters uploaded to the PTS portal/website.
  6. No TA/DA (Traveling Allowance / Dearness Allowance) will be admissible for tests or interviews.
  7. Allocation of seats will be strictly per the Sindh Government quota policy.
  8. No relaxation in the upper age limit will be granted under any circumstances.
  9. Inspectorate General Prisons, Sindh reserves the right to increase, decrease, or cancel the number of posts.
  10. Selected candidates will undergo training and may be posted anywhere within the Sindh province.
  11. Selected candidates must produce a fitness certificate issued by an authorized government hospital.
  12. Candidates found with any criminal record or involved in illegal activities will be declared disqualified/ineligible.
