Eligibility Criteria

For Civilian Candidates

  • Education: Minimum Middle Pass (higher qualification preferred)
  • Age Limit: 18 to 30 years (as of 31 October 2025) – Preference for 18-22 years
  • Height: Minimum 5’6’’ (taller candidates will be preferred)
  • Chest: 33” with 1.5” expansion
  • Weight: Minimum 121 pounds (according to medical rules)
  • Nationality: Pakistani male only

Required Documents

Candidates must bring the following documents at the time of initial registration:

  1. All original educational certificates with 2 photocopies (Middle pass candidates must provide School Leaving Certificate attested by District Education Officer).
  2. Original CNIC with 2 photocopies.
  3. Original domicile/PRC with 2 photocopies.
  4. Four passport-size attested photographs.
  5. NOC (for serving government/semi-government employees) duly signed by Head of Department.

Selection Procedure

  1. Physical Test: Candidates must bring joggers/PT shoes.
  2. Written Test: Candidates should bring their own stationery.
  3. Psychological Test/Interview: Only shortlisted candidates will be called.
  4. Final/Medical Examination:
    • Conducted at HQ Pakistan Rangers (Punjab), Lahore, and Rangers Academy Hospital, Mandi Bahauddin.
    • Tests include Chest X-Ray, ECG, Ultrasound, Blood Sugar, Blood Group, Hepatitis B & C, HIV, Serum ALT, Creatinine, ESR, LDH, HB Electrophoresis, and urine test.
  5. Final Training: Selected candidates will undergo basic training at Pakistan Rangers Academy, Mandi Bahauddin.

Salary & Benefits

  • Basic Pay: BPS-05 as per Government rules
  • Allowances: Admissible as per prevailing policies
  • Accommodation: Free housing; married personnel may receive House Rent Allowance (30–45% of basic pay)
