  • Minimum Qualification: * i. At least Second Class Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (BCS/BIT) from a recognized University; OR
    • ii. At least Second Class Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University with a one-year Diploma in Information Technical Education.

2. Sub-Engineers (BPS-12)

  • Minimum Qualification: * i. At least Second Division Secondary School Certificate (Matric) from a recognized Board; and

How to Apply

  7. Do Not Mail Documents: Do not send physical documents or testimonials to the ETEA office. Scrutiny of documents will be conducted later for candidates who successfully pass the screening test.
  8. Deadline: The final date for online application submission is 30th June, 2026.

Terms and Conditions

1. Provisional Screening Test

Candidates will be provisionally allowed to appear in the ETEA screening test based entirely on the information provided in their online profile. Detailed scrutiny will be carried out later by the appointing authority, and any candidate found ineligible at any stage will be disqualified.

2. Eligibility Cut-off

Candidates must fulfill all eligibility criteria, including educational qualifications and age limits, on or before the last date of receipt of applications.

3. Shortlisting for Interviews

Candidates who qualify the ETEA screening test will be screened further for relevance regarding eligibility criteria. Interview call letters will be issued to shortlisted candidates only.

4. Experience Criteria Points

Experience marks will only be awarded to candidates who have relevant full-time paid employment experience in Government, Semi-Government, Autonomous, or Semi-Autonomous bodies, supported by official Pay Slips and Appointment Orders. Experience gained in the private sector, self-employment, independent practice, volunteer work, or internships with/without a stipend will carry zero marks.

5. Late or Incomplete Applications

Applications received after the due date will not be entertained. Incomplete profiles or applications containing fake documents/information will face rejection at any stage of the recruitment process.

6. Age Relaxation

Relaxation in the upper age limit will be admissible strictly as per the existing Government of KPK rules.

7. Government Servants (NOC)

Candidates currently serving in Government or Semi-Government organizations must apply through the proper channel. A departmental No Objection Certificate (NOC) must be provided before the Departmental Selection Committee (DSC) at the time of the interview.

8. Multiple Posts

Candidates intending to apply for more than one vacancy must submit separate online applications and pay separate test fees for each post.

9. Authority Rights

The competent authority reserves the absolute right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies while providing a cogent reason. Errors or omissions in the number of posts are subject to rectification.

10. Test Logistics & Roll No Slips

Candidates will be informed via SMS by ETEA to download and print their Roll No Slips from the ETEA portal. Candidates are strictly directed not to provide ported or converted mobile numbers to avoid communication failure. Test dates, times, and venues will be explicitly mentioned on the Roll No Slip. No separate physical call letters will be sent by mail.

11. Travel Allowance

No TA/DA will be admissible for candidates appearing for the screening test or interview.

12. Foreign Degrees

In the case of degrees obtained from foreign universities, equivalent certificates issued by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) must be provided.
